Ferrell Historic Lofts

The Ferrell Historic Lofts, one of the oldest buildings on Main Street in downtown Danville, VA was converted in 2011 and reopened as premier loft apartments in the Danville River District in early 2012. This proud building built in the 1870s had not been occupied and had been deteriorating for several decades until it finally found a home with a group that was able to rescue and preserve it. North Carolina based Rehab Development and Washington D.C. based Level 2 Development joined forces to form Ferrell Historic Lofts, LLC in late 2010. Working with the City of Danville, Ferrell Historic Lofts was one of the pioneer River District revitalization efforts that has helped revive Danville’s downtown into the vibrant, charming and welcoming historic community that it is today.
